Have you ever felt paralyzed by inaction, knowing exactly what God asked you to do but somehow staying still?
And here’s the truth the Holy Spirit had to reveal to me:
Staying stuck isn’t neutral — it’s agreement with the enemy.
That realization changed everything for me. It wasn’t condemnation; it was an invitation. God was calling me to step out of fear, silence, and delay and walk boldly in my Kingdom identity. Today, I want to share that revelation with you.
Recognizing the Enemy’s Tactics
The enemy has no real power over us, but he’s a master at using deception to keep us bound.
THE 3 D's---Distraction, Delay and Deception
Distraction → Filling your time with busywork so you never focus on God’s assignment.
- With Distraction — the enemy will keep you busy but unproductive.
The enemy can make someone feel overwhelmed by the "cares of the world" to keep them from focusing on what truly matters. For every D-I'm going to provide scriptures to add to your spiritual bank account. These verses will encourage you to remain focused on God's purpose.
Delay → Convincing you there’s “plenty of time,” so you keep putting off obedience.
- With Delay — He'll make you believe there’s more time to “figure it out.”
This is a form of procrastination where the enemy makes someone feel there's no rush to be obedient or draw closer to God. These scriptures emphasize acting with urgency and being prepared.
Deception → Whispering lies that twist God’s truth and make you settle for less.
- With Deception — The enemy twists God's truth to make sin seem desirable or to make someone settle for less than God's best
The goal here is to keep you in cycles of defeat. You'll get started believing truth. But then something comes along to test that truth. And when you sit in this for too long-you get stagnant and fall into deception. Causing you to be suspicious of "everything". And what seems good to you isn't actually good or Godly.
The key to freedom? Awareness + action.
You Were Created to Create
One of the biggest breakthroughs for me came when I realized this:
“God’s Kingdom is producing. God’s Kingdom is multiplying. God’s Kingdom is creating.
And since I’m made in His image, that’s who I AM, too.
When you’re not producing what God placed in you — whether that’s writing, teaching, building, leading, or creating — you’re out of alignment with your design. And no longer are walking in your true self.
Producing is not optional; it’s Kingdom work.
And when you create, you wage war against the enemy. And according to Joshua 1 you begin to take back or take territory that God said says belongs to the children of God. Friend that's YOU....and our Father wants to put in your hands. It's the very thing that belonged to you in the first place, God's original plan. Every time you step into what God called you to do, you push back against darkness.
How to Walk in Your Identity
Here’s a simple framework you can put into practice right now:
1. Recognize the Lie
Ask yourself: “What am I believing that doesn’t line up with God’s Word?”
2. Replace It with Truth
“We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take every thought captive to make it obedient to Christ.”
— 2 Corinthians 10:5
3. Do the Opposite
If the enemy’s whispering “You’re not ready,” move forward anyway.
If he’s saying “Stay quiet,” open your mouth and speak.
4. Stay Consistent
Production isn’t a one-time thing; it’s a rhythm. When you keep creating, you keep advancing.
Closing Encouragement & Your Next Steps
You are not who the enemy says you are.
You are who God says you are: redeemed, set apart, and filled with His Spirit.
So today, take one bold step. Do the thing you’ve been putting off.
Write the chapter.
Record the video.
Launch the project.
Your identity isn’t proven by what you produce, but your production is proof that you believe who God says you are. And that’s how you walk in victory.
