If you’ve ever felt stuck — like your past mistakes, missed opportunities, or even failed business ventures have disqualified you from walking in your calling — I have good news: God’s redemption covers it all.
This isn’t just about salvation. Redemption is God’s way of restoring your identity, provision, and creativity so you can step boldly into what He’s called you to build.
I know this because I’ve lived it. There was a season when I lost everything — my business, my finances, my sense of direction. But God met me in the middle of my mess and showed me this powerful truth:
You are never without a way back.
Redemption Is Built Into God’s Design
Leviticus 25 gives us a glimpse of God’s heart for restoration. In the Year of Jubilee, debts were canceled, slaves were released, and land was returned to its rightful owners.
God literally designed a system where no loss was permanent.
And that same Kingdom principle applies to you today. Your past does not define you. Every delay, every wrong turn, and every failure is subject to God’s redemption plan.
Why the Enemy Fights Your Growth
Here’s the thing about your calling: it scares the enemy.
He knows what happens when a Kingdom daughter starts creating from her identity — entire territories shift. So he uses fear, procrastination, and distractions to keep you stuck and silent.
But 2 Corinthians 2:11 reminds us: “We are not ignorant of his schemes.”
The way to defeat him?
Move anyway.
Create anyway.
Speak anyway.
Build anyway.
But just make sure you're doing it in alignment with God.
Building from Identity, Not Insecurity
For years, I tried to succeed in business by copying what everyone else was doing. And here’s the truth: there’s nothing wrong with using a system or program someone else created. However, if you’re not aligned with God and His timing or season, it will pull you off course and send you in the opposite direction of where God has called you too. It's like trying to put a square peg into a round hole and forcing it to work. And here's the thing, being out of alignment with God's timing and season will ultimately delay you and keep you in cycles. Mentally, it will also have you believing that you are a failure, and that there's something that you did wrong and cause you to try and fix what really isn't broken, and if you've ever been there before, or there now; you just need to get back into alignment with God's original plan for your life. (Psalm 139:16)
And this is how I got stuck for years. Because of my insecurities, and my impatience, I leaned on other people’s systems and their programs out of order for what God wanted for me. I watched and leaned on their successes, hoping for the same results. And sis—this is where I hustled, strategized, and launched over and over again… but nothing stuck.
Anytime you are connected to the wrong leaders, the wrong systems, and the wrong voices—you are out of alignment with God's purpose for your life. And transparency, obviously I joined for the wrong reasons. My motives were out of greed, and my heart posture wasn't for the right things. I was out of alignment with God’s plan and with my true identity in Him.
It wasn’t until I realized I was building on a faulty foundation that things began to shift.
When you know who you are, you stop striving to compete. You start producing from a place of confidence and clarity.
“Seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33
We have to seek the Kingdom of God and His righteousness if we want to know what we’re truly called to do. That’s what I began to do—starting with surrender, sitting at the feet of Jesus Christ and asking for understanding into what it really means to be redeemed, set free, healed and delivered.
At first, I wasn’t thinking about building a business. Yes, I wanted to know why nothing worked, but before I could build, I needed to be healed. Of course, I didn’t realize that going in. But when the Lord began to heal me—that’s when clarity started to come.
Three Practical Steps to Walk in Redemption
Speak God’s Word Out Loud:
- Counter every lie with Scripture. If doubt says, “You can’t do this,” remind yourself, “I can do all things through Christ.”
Create Instead of Compete:
- God didn’t make you a copy; He made you a creator. Focus on multiplying what He’s placed in your hands.
Seek God first, and ask "Lord, what do you want me to do?" (Matthew 6:33 and Psalms 139:23-24)
Trust God’s Timing:
- Stop forcing doors open. The Year of Jubilee principle still stands — God has appointed seasons for restoration.
Final Encouragement
Sis, you are redeemed, restored, and ready. The enemy cannot cancel what God has ordained for you.
It’s time to build differently — not from striving, but from alignment. Not from fear, but from identity.
