Have you been asking God for a new strategy, a fresh anointing, or a divine download… but Heaven feels silent?
Here’s the hard truth:
"God hasn’t changed His mind—the oil is still sitting on the last thing He told you to do."
In this final part of the Provision Series, I’m sharing why your “next” breakthrough is tied to your “last” obedience—and how to hear God clearly about what’s already in your hands.
The Real Reason You Might Feel Stuck
Most of us assume our next season will start with a fresh instruction from God. But often, the next provision is released when we revisit the last thing He said—fully, faithfully, and without rushing to the “new.”
When I was in a dry season, I kept asking for a new plan. But God pointed me back to something I’d created months earlier—something I’d put down because it didn’t feel “big enough.”
The moment I picked it up again, the flow returned. Ideas came. Opportunities opened. Provision showed up.
It wasn’t that I was waiting on God.
"He was waiting on me to finish the last thing He said."
Biblical Foundations
Three moments in scripture show us this truth:
- 2 Kings 4:5 – The widow didn’t wait for new oil—she kept pouring what she already had.
- Luke 7:38 – The woman with the alabaster jar poured out what she had in worship, and it became a memorial in Heaven.
- Philippians 2:17 – Paul calls his life a “drink offering” poured out in service.
Action Steps to Unlock Your Next Provision
1. Go Back to the Last Word
Write down the last clear instruction you believe God gave you. Did you complete it fully—or did you stop when it felt too small or too slow?
2. Steward It Well
Sometimes the miracle isn’t in starting something new, but in pouring again from what you already have.
3. Listen Again
If it’s been a while, ask the Holy Spirit to confirm if He’s still breathing on that assignment. Don’t move until you know.
Journal Prompts
- What’s the last thing God told me to do?
- Where did I stop short in obeying Him fully?
- How can I steward this assignment with fresh faith today?
Key Takeaways
- Your “next” is hidden in your “last.” Don’t overlook past instructions.
- Provision follows stewardship, not just strategy.
- You can’t steward what you can’t hear. Stay close to God’s voice.
Final Encouragement
If you’ve been chasing a “fresh word” but feeling stuck, maybe it’s because Heaven is waiting for your last yes. Don’t despise it because it feels small. The oil is still there.
"The next door opens when you fully walk through the last one.”

About Me + Brand Story
Hi, I’m Idina—a Kingdom entrepreneur, Holy Spirit-led identity coach, and voice of truth called to help women heal, rediscover their God-given identity, and build with clarity and excellence.
My story is one of surrender, faith, and resilience. I know what it’s like to strive for validation, tie myself to the wrong people, and face the pain of misplaced trust—even within the church. But God healed me, restored my voice, and taught me how to build from a place of wholeness and Kingdom alignment to build healthy relationships with Him and with others.
"The vision God placed inside of you just needs to be unlocked, my job as your identity coach is to give you the keys to unlock it."
